Hearing Aids and The Digital Revolution

The digital revolution has made a huge impact on the way hearing aids look and work. They can be so small that they are virtually invisible, or even so “cool” looking that you will want everyone to see them. They can also more accurately mimic the way you used to hear before you experienced hearing loss.

Dry & StoreWith all of our new hearing aids we include a Dry & Store®. Dry & Store is a conditioning system for all types of hearing and was invented by Dr. Schumaier. For most users, results include:

Dr. Schumaier has also invented two hearing aids: TransEar and Clik. TransEar is a hearing aid that helps individuals with “Single Sided Deafness” (SSD). It looks like a conventional BTE (Behind-the Ear) hearing aid, but instead of simply amplifying sound, it relies on bone conduction to transmit the sound to the better ear.

Clik DeviceClik is a new, revolutionary open-fit hearing instrument allows patients to participate more actively in the selection of acoustic parameters. Clik is pre-programmed with a variety of algorithms, so instead of “programming,” by traditional cable connections, you select the appropriate setting with a fingertip. For your most tech-savvy patients you can enable a mode whereby they can fine-tune the hearing aid in their own real-world listening environments with no sacrifice of fitting quality or hearing aid performance.
